2017-19 workgroup

The purpose of the 2017-19 advancing equity workgroup was to develop and implement best practices that advance equity in educator preparation programs. The group focused on practices that center racial equity and community engagement in order to diversify their candidates and produce more culturally responsive educators. PESB partnered with the community-based organization, Multicultural Education Rights Alliance (McERA), to co-facilitate workgroup meetings and strengthen the workgroup’s understanding of community engagement. The year-end report for this grant cycle is available on the resources and reports page.
