Testing barriers

Purpose

The purpose of the testing barriers workgroup is to thoroughly investigate the barriers that testing creates for candidates, particularly bilingual and candidates of color, and develop recommendations for consideration by the Professional Educator Standards Board and the Legislature.

Work Group Product

The testing barriers workgroup released a full report with research, data, and recommendations in September, 2018. Prior to the full report, the work group produced this recommendation to PESB (PDF).
