Reimbursing the paraeducator Fundamental Course of Study: iGrants package 918
During the 2019-20 school year, school districts are required to provide 14 hours of training on the Fundamental Course of Study to paraeducators. Districts can now begin the reimbursement process for providing this training. Read the announcement.

Grant applications available to pilot bilingual high school teacher academy
Washington school districts can now apply to participate in the Recruiting Washington Teachers – Bilingual Educators Initiative (RWT-BEI) pilot program. Applications are due April 30, 2019 by 5 p.m. Read the announcement.

75% of beginning teachers from Washington teacher preparation programs have found employment as a Washington public school teacher one year after their certification.
