PGP Support Providers Webinar
Do you support others in completing their Professional Growth Plans (PGPs)? The PESB is offering a one hour webinar for PGP support providers. With recent changes in certification policy this past summer and fall, there have also been a number of changes to PGPs. Find out the latest and get your questions answered. You will get an update regarding Washington state’s educator certification system, with a specific focus on PGPs and resources available for PGP candidate support.
We will be offering this webinar on three occasions:
- Tuesday, November 21, 3:00 pm;
- Tuesday, November 28, 4:00 pm; and
- Thursday, November 30, 11:00 am.

ProTeach Portfolio Updates on Deadlines
In a response to the enactment of E2SHB 1341 by the Legislature in June of this year, the ProTeach Portfolio assessment will be no longer offered as of December 31, 2019. Due to this change, the last date that candidates may submit a ProTeach portfolio is June 28, 2019. Currently, there are four more submission dates available to candidates: January 31, 2018; June 28, 2018; January 31, 2019, and June 28, 2019.
