Reminder: WEST-B and Content Assessment Test Requirements
In response to a March 2015 Board decision, beginning September 1, 2017, WAC 181-78A-300 requires candidates admitted on a case-by-case basis per RCW 28A, who have not met the basic skills testing requirement at the time of admission, must pass this requirement prior to student teaching. In addition, all candidates must attempt at least one content assessment test (NES or WEST-E) prior to student teaching. Please contact Nick Gillon with any questions.
