Alternative Routes Block Grant (ARBG) pre-info session - 4.4.2017

The Professional Educator Standards Board will be holding a “Pre-Info” Session for the Alternative Routes Block Grant on April 27, 2017 from 3-4 pm at the Eastern Washington University WACTE meeting. For more information on the WACTE meeting visit, and for more information on the ARBG visit 

Alexandra Manuel, Deputy Director, and Beth Geiger, Educator Pathways Program Specialist, will lead a session that will include: 
  • An overview of the Block Grant 
  • A timeline of requirements
  • Where to find more information
  • What partnerships can look like
  • Information on apply vs reapplying
  • Brainstorming best practices for program design
